Handbook – Cloudline (SC Version)

  • December 19, 2012

  • · Hip Hop/Rap · Listen

Born in Scunthorpe, raised in York. Dude makes some cool beats, and his name is Handbook.

This musician has fostered quite the following on the internet by releasing his music digitally. That’s because his beats are fresh, classy, and all around wholesome for your ears. After listening to this next track, you’ll understand what I mean.

Handbook has been around for a few years and has several album releases under his belt, which are all highlighted on his Soundcloud page. He also produces music for artists who are interested in gracing his beats with vocals. This is evident through his past production work with rap artist Supreme Sol. Together they both released an EP called “Higher Manifestation” in July 2012. The album can be previewed and downloaded at this Bandcamp page.

The track I want to show you was released this month on Soundcloud. The guitar chords and strings have that nostalgic groove to it. Then, the drumkit drops. Handbook does a wonderful job of mixing it down seamlessly so it doesn’t sound too heavy on the ears, or too light. Visit his page for more instrumental good-ness, and above all, please tell Soundcloud to make this their anthem (Soundcloudline!)

Enjoy!
